Initial Consultation
We’ll discuss your goals, review your medical history, and assess your facial anatomy and proportions to determine whether filler is appropriate and which areas may benefit from filler. Following your consultation, your medical history will be submitted to the medical director for review before treatment. You will then return for your filler appointment.(Note: After the initial consultation is complete, you can book future appointments under “returning client” and can get your treatment done on the same say as your appointment).
Your Treatment
Numbing is applied at the beginning of your appointment and once it has taken effect, your filler treatment is performed. Post care instructions are given. Some swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising is normal following treatment.
Follow up
A follow up appointment can be booked for any adjustments after the filler has settled. -
If you have upcoming travel plans outside of the local area, please schedule your filler appointment at least 2 weeks before travelling. This allows for monitoring your healing and provide timely follow-up care if needed.
For 24–48 hours before your appointment:
• Avoid alcohol
• Avoid strenuous exercise immediately before treatment
• Avoid blood thinning medications or supplements which may increase bruising unless prescribed by your healthcare provider.Note: if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active infection your appointment will have to be postponed.
-
Swelling and bruising are common and improve over the following days. Lip swelling can be more pronounced and may take several days to settle.
You will receive individualized aftercare instructions following your treatment.
